This week, Andrew Trí Lê and Annie Thu Nguyen successfully facilitated their first Climate Fresk workshop with the management team of Tan Phu Plastic Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City! As one of the leading companies in the plastic manufacturing industry, Tan Phu is increasingly committed to integrating ESG principles, particularly in tackling climate change.
During the workshop, we explored:
🔍 The causes and consequences of climate change
💡 Potential actions at both individual and corporate levels
🌏 Vietnam’s climate challenges, including the impacts of Typhoon Yagi and the country’s net-zero commitments by 2050
I was pleased to observe and support Andrew and Annie as they stepped into their roles as facilitators. During the workshop, I had the opportunity to share insights on how climate change is impacting Vietnam, e.g. devastating effects of Typhoon Yagi to the government's commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. These real-world examples helped connect the scientific concepts of climate change to local challenges and policies, emphasizing the urgent need for action at both corporate and individual levels.
Witnessing the enthusiasm and engagement from Tan Phu’s leadership team reaffirmed the importance of bringing climate education into the corporate world.
A big thank you to Tan Phu Plastic Vietnam for prioritizing climate awareness and sustainability in their business strategy. Let’s continue empowering organizations to take meaningful climate action!
